HR Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist in all stages of the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
    • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Onboarding:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating training schedules.
    • Ensure that all new employee documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HR database and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Prepare reports and documents related to recruitment metrics and HR activities.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and benefits with professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Compliance and Policy Management:
    • Assist in ensuring that HR practices comply with applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
    • Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal compliance.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing communications, and organizing HR events.
    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment Support
    • Assist in posting job openings and managing applications.
    • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interviewers.
    • Participate in onboarding processes for new hires.
  2. Employee Administration
    • Maintain employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance reviews.
    • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
    • Manage employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  3. Training and Development
    • Help organize employee training sessions and workshops.
    • Track employee attendance and participation in training programs.
  4. HR Policy Implementation
    • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  5. Performance Management
    • Assist in the performance appraisal process, including scheduling evaluations and collecting feedback.
    • Help track employee performance metrics.
  6. Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare reports on HR metrics (turnover rates, recruitment statistics, etc.).
    • Assist in maintaining HR databases and generating documentation.
  7. Employee Relations
    • Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Help address employee grievances and resolve issues where possible

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in an HR role, particularly in a recruitment environment, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Understanding of labor laws and regulations.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationship
